Step ona crack, break your momma's back

Dink around and fall offa a rope swing, break mine.
"Fracture in the L3 area." That's pretty much all I know; seeing a specialist tomorrow... 1st broken bone in my life. Time to practice milking sympathy. "Oh that 19" widescreen monitor is nice, but, you won't believe it, I broke my back..."

Lumbar 3

The lumbar 3 is the third vertebrae (counted from the head) of the lumbar spine.
Lumbar spine
The lumbar spine, or lumbar vertebrae, are the five bones of the backbone that are situated between the thoracic vertebrae and the sacrum in the lower part of the back. They are the largest of the unfused vertebrae and have stout processes for attachment of the strong muscles of the lower back.

no, i didn't get the monitor. i was just trying my legs at making someone, anyone, feel bad enough about my having broken my back to buy the one i've been eyeing for months. you have one? please email me the brand, model number, and your impressions. curious.
i think i messed up somewhere along the line; yesterday afternoon i personally picked up my x-rays from the outpatient radiology. carried this large manilla enveope marked "x-ray film, please do not bend" home and am gonna carry it to another doctor again within the hour. hoped to pull one out and scan it, but they're sealed. anxious for more specific info. fucked up, supposed to move by the 1st... real goddamn fucked up.
